It's about that time....

Well, August always zooms by so quickly.  There are only a few weeks until school starts.  Even so, I intend to go visit a friend and take it easy the last few weeks before school starts. I hope you all do, too! 

One of my favorite childhood summer memories is going to the beach with my grandparents, aunts, and cousins.  Whenever I run into a student in the summer, I always hope that my students had those same opportunities to go on vacations.

So, if you were lucky enough to have gone on a vacation this summer, leave a comment and tell me where you went and what your favorite part was!  Or, just tell me your favorite part of your summer.

Here is an example:
I went to Ocean City, NJ with my mom, dad, aunt, uncle, cousins, and best friend.  My favorite parts were sleeping in, swimming, and spending time with my family.

Another example:
My favorite part of this summer was decluttering my house and getting rid of a lot of junk that I don't need.  I had a few garage sales and made a lot of money!
